This was our second trip to this cabin and loved it just as much this year!! It is everything you want in a trip to the mountains, very private with a beautiful stream out back!
Great cabin off the beaten path. We enjoyed everything from the cleanliness, fireplace, hot tub, outdoor firepit and of course the stream running right next to the cabin. It is a bit of a hike to get to from Blowing Rock and definitely recommend having SUV for the mountain road, but we enjoyed the seclusion. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Beautiful, secluded spot for a short getaway. A little further from Boone than other Deep Gap properties we’ve stayed at. If you are looking to stay put this is a great place to do it.
We enjoyed our stay at the trout house! It was very clean and in a great location way off the main road. We would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again!
This cabin is beautiful and my family had an amazing time. My boys cooked s’mores, played in the creek, and just enjoyed being outside! We will be back!
Cabin was nice, clean and well stocked.
Bed was very comfortable, we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The cabin is about 20 minutes to Boone down a curvy road. In a quiet setting by a creek.
Loved the cabin and was a wonderful dog friendly property
It was a newer cabin…clean, well stocked, and had a very nice hot tub! The only potential downside for some that like to stay connected is ultra slow to no internet service! However, we enjoyed a break from city life and would highly recommend it!!!
This cabin was exactly what my wife and I wanted. Very comfortable and quiet spot to spend some time. Really close to Boone for activities and stores. The spa was perfect too.
Stayed for two nights for my birthday! Wonderfully cozy and amazing scenery. The rushing stream was beautiful to wake up to each morning! Very clean and the beds were very comfortable, especially the sheets! so soft! The hot tub was relaxing (and our favorite part)
Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back
This cabin was an amazing experience. My kids, husband, and I loved the stay here. Everything was very clean and organized. They provided everything we needed and more. We plan to come back and visit this wonderful place again.
My husband and I were looking for some time away from our very busy schedules to get some rest and relaxation and we sure found it at the trout house. The house was secluded away from town and very peaceful. It was clean and comfortable. We had access to supplies that most owners keep locked up which came in handy. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was clean. We will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful place! Everything is brand new, they have everything you could need for a stay there even stuff you don’t need. The property is beautiful, quite, right on a stream that our children and dog loved to play in and float down on a tube. We will definitely be visiting again!!
The cabin had everything we needed. Enjoyed reading by the fireplace. Definitely enjoyed the hot tub. The dogs loved running around sniffing everything. The creek is so calming. We bundled up and had our coffee on the deck every morning. Bill was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to questions.
