"We really loved staying here for a week at the end of June. Sadly the temperatures were above average and the single window air unit was not enough to circulate through out the entire house. We didn't want to leave the windows open while we weren't there because of our four dogs. Also the lack of a fenced yard will stop us from returning. We brought a small amount of fencing with us which worked out great but takes up to much space in our SUV. If there was a fence we would return for short...

"the cabin had everything to offer! Loved the hot tub, the wrap around porch, a cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had trouble finding a roster for a couple of days, but then we found it on the back of the bottom cabinet. We had so much fun! Felt very safe and very comfortable. Thank you very much!"

"We can't say enough about our host, Molly (and her husband)! We came down to the area just after Hurricane Helene and had to navigate a few storm related issues but it was no big deal and Molly made it easy. The house is adorable and well appointed. The area is beautiful, close to great hiking & biking. Truly enjoyed our time and hope to be back soon! "

"The house was nicely decorated. Fairly clean. Kitchen needs a few more pots. Only one there Close to many bike rentals. We did the trail both directions. Once with rented bikes and the other direction with our own bikes. Check your rental bikes closely. One of the bikes had a warped wheel with loose spokes. Damascus is a beautiful taunt town with many friendly people. We had a good time. "

"This newly renovated mountain cabin was is a great location- 5 min walk to downtown. Loved the large back deck with edison lights. The host was amazing! Quick responses with any questions, he checked via message to make sure I was settled and to let him know if I needed anything. Simply made my trip stress free and enjoyable!!"

"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"This home is perfect!! Even during a hurricane It was clean and lovely! Comfy bed. Nicely decorated. Great spot with our dogs. Big yard. Nice porches to sit and little to the river in the back yard! Thankful there was no flooding!!! Communication with owners and cleaners was fantastic! We lost electricity as so many did I. The area. "What a great location. The river just off the balcony is peaceful and relaxing. The round house is a unique experience that you should try. Communication with the property management was smooth, easy, and reliable. A small gripe is that we wished all the blinds worker. All in all, we will be back!"

"We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

I appreciate that each of bedroom had its own bathroom and that there was a little trail up the hill where I could walk my dog.
