"We were in town for our granddaughter’s birthday. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described (and even better). The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and I appreciated the little extras like the coffee, and helpful hints around the home. "Pictures are accurate. Beautiful place, fully equipped , clean and decorated for the holidays. My husband passed away, earlier this year, and we wanted a different holiday experience. This cabin was perfect. Steve communicate with us after the hurricane to assure us there was no damage to the cabin or the roads surrounding. We had so much fun. The place is comfortable and the fireplace added an ambiance , perfect for Christmas. highly recommend!"

"Overall we (group of 7 adults) had a great weekend stay at Eagle's Rest. The location is good as it's in a nice neighborhood, but you still feel kind of secluded, and it's located nicely between Boone and West Jefferson. The great room and kitchen area is laid out really well for a group since it's nice and open, with plenty of seating. Great location between West Jefferson and Boone, not to mention proximity to southern Virginia, including Whitetop Mountain, Mount Rogers and Grayson Highlands. Majestic views in peaceful Fleetwood as well. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ashe County. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed at quick weekend pre-holiday getaway in Fleetwood. The location is perfect for a day in charming West Jefferson and a few days in Boone. The home was spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. The host was available for our questions. The only recommendation we would make is to add lamps and mirrors in all the bedrooms. We hope to return in the Spring!"
