"Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"The property was accurate to the description and very clean. The pool area is very nice and we spent most of our time outside in the pool having fun. The home is located in a authentic area and sets behind the jungle so the views was actually more then I thought there was. I will be back for sure"

"We had a wonderful week in Costa Rica and this was the perfect home base. Conveniently located to the San Jose airport and day trips to Jaco for fun in the sun. We loved coming back to the house in the evening for pool side happy hour and grilling for dinner. Wonderful views of the Central Valley and cool night air provided a perfect setting to cast your cares away. Piet and Yvonne were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend this property."

"Great house! So clean. Great location. Concierge very attentive. Trail outside the front door to graffitied abandoned hotel a must. Zero complaints regarding house. Just to provide heads up to others… we experienced significant traffic from airport to house making drive a bit more than expected. With that being said… I would still make the drive to stay here again."

Everything was planned from the moment we got out of customs; tours were all close by, location is perfect. Loved seeing the monkeys on the property and even spotted a sloth. "The property and its view is as beautiful as the pictures describe. Tino provides great assistance as the day to day property manager. The pool and surrounding areas is wonderful and the 11 grandkids loved it. It is very close to the beaches, Jaco, and a host of other sites. The one huge negative is the driveway getting up to the property. You literally feel like you are taking your life into your hands each time up and down because it is so treacherous.
