Hotels.com was on the verge of finding us another place because nobody would answer the phone at the number provided when luckily another property owner knew of the place and helped us find it. Should just say in the listing to check in at Mar hotel or Don Taco."

The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. "Five of us stayed here for a week in June. Me, wife, 2 kids, and my mother. This property fit all our needs. I think it was nicer than the pictures. Internet was fast. Location was good(only 5 minutes from town center). House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was furnished well. Favorite part was of course the pool, swim up bar, and waterfall.
