"The Celtic Royal staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and pubs, and the castle itself. The property also had a nice pool and gym on site. "

Without exception, they were brilliant with my five year old granddaughter. The rooms do need an upgrade but they were very clean, lovely and warm with tea making facilities. Amazing value for money! "Friendly welcome and an easy check in. I was visiting to attend the Welsh Open Snooker so didn't spend much time in the hotel. My single room was cheap in price but well set up and very clean. Great bed and shower. Nice range of courtesy drinks in the room. I didn't buy breakfast so I cannot comment on food or bar service. I will stay here again"

"All staff were very welcoming on arrival, my room was spotless and very comfy. Plenty of room and a beautiful view. I was here with my dog Coco and they made her very comfortable and fussed her lots. Reservation in the pub was easy and again at dinner the dog had a blanket and water bowl. All the staff were very friendly and made the stay a lot easier by being helpful with local knowledge. Myself and Coco will be back again soon. "
