"The Ovolo South Yarra hotel is a gem. Very cool, tongue-in-cheek arty hotel that doesn’t take itself too seriously but takes great care of its guests. Our reservation included breakfast (excellent) and a bottle of wine (also excellent). We were also upgraded to a Sonny & Cher Suite which was fabulous. Great location in South Yarra with lots within walking distance. We will definitely return to the Ovolo South Yarra if we have the opportunity!"

The location seems a bit far from downtown, but you can catch the train nearby and it's a quick and inexpensive ride back and forth. We liked the hotel, but if we returned we would probably stay closer to downtown."
