"This hilltop "mini resort" was perfect for our family.It's about midway between Fredericksburg and San Antonio and just minutes from old town Boerne and the Joshua Nature Preserve for its trails. The Cascade Caverns and No Name cave are also nearby.The views of the distant hills were relaxing and even though I-10 is "right there", the occasional traffic sounds were a non issue inside or out.We used all 4 bedrooms (the laundry room-shower bath worked just fine for the bonus 1st first floor...

"We had a lovely stay at the 1890s farmhouse in Comfort, TX for our girls' weekend getaway! The house is beautifully decorated- we "oohed" and "aahed" through every room. We enjoyed the peacefulness and the hot tub. We had fun exploring Comfort- thrifting, antiquing and visiting a winery. Thank you to Lisa for making our stay so wonderful! "

"The place was lovely. It was clean and very comfortable, the location was great, it had great views, and we enjoyed spending time with the goats!Two small things we had an issue with: 1. The WIFI wasn't great. We often ended up using a phone as a personal hotspot. 2. The hot water was intermittent. When hot, it was very hot, but it would alternate between hot and quite cool, which made showers unpleasant sometimes. "
