"We are at the end of our private tour of Sri Lanka. We booked all accom from Australia. The most consistent service issue across all accommodation regardless of price point or star rating is the inordinately slow service! Whether drinks or food slow service is endemic across Sri Lanka and unfortunately the cinnamon grand is no different. Staff always try to be helpful however this is the first hotel experience where staff seem unhappy. Just to be clear what we are talking about is the time taken...

The Colombo Residency or Crescat residency as its know is in a prime area of Colombo along the Galle Road. Situated next to the Cinnamon Grande Hotel it is within minutes of the Crescat Mall with its shopping and Food Hall situated on the Lower level. "We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."
