"Though the house was described accurately as typical Caribbean style, we were not expecting the total openness with only screens in windows. However, we are so glad we stayed there and would do it again. So much wildlife to observe from the upper open “treehouse” deck. No issues with bugs in the home, great laundry and pool area. Great hiking right out the door. Host was an excellent communicator and property was well equipped and maintained. We will remember this stay for a lifetime. It is 100%...

"We loved having the beach and good dining very close. The grounds are beautiful and we saw howler monkeys, common black hawks and sloth right on the property. Playa Cocles is across the street with some major waves! Our apartment had a kitchen which was very convenient. It is close to the street and adjacent property, so not quiet. The only inprovements we would like are a replaced shower head and mitigation of the sewage smell (brief) near the stairs."

"The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."

"This lodge is every bit is beautiful as the pictures show. They had a young sloth on property that we saw the first day. We saw all sorts of birds and agoutis too. Staff were very helpful. Filtered water and coffee on endless supply in the dining area. The Wi-Fi on the property is good, but it does not extend to the cabins. "Beach front. This hotel is a paradise! Rooms Kitchen and living room. Staff was súper nice! They have 2 stations with cold filtered water. You can walk 8Km through the beach to the right and 3km to the left. 2 restaurants in the complex."
