"Property was rustic but clean. The only issue being is that it doesn’t let you know in the description that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other so that’s not really convenient for 2 couples. Staff was very nice."

"This property is well worth a 10 rating. The setting is beautiful, situated in a lush tropical forest just footsteps from a very private beach. The house is spacious, comfortable and well-provisioned. We stayed for a week and especially enjoyed the open-air living space where we could relax surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of nature - wildlife, surf, rain, etc. The host is very easy to reach and super accommodating. We loved everything about the Happy House and look forward to a return stay. "

"This house was perfect - group of 5 adults and had no issues. Having AC was great and it was close to beach. The community was so friendly. We did not need anything during our stay but they till checked in to be sure we were doing good and did not need anything. We did not have to eat out for every meal but was close to great local places to support the community. Definitely on my list of go back to places in the future. "

"Gigantic 500 year old ceiba trees met the ocean a short distance from this house.Trees filled /w seeds were perfect to watch toucans, aracaris, guan other tropical birds. We saw troops of spider monkeys swinging through the trees by 'our' secluded beach…loved it! heard howler monkeys every morning. Home had a great set up … Loved the layout of kitchen the A/c, many fans,.Appreciated the big tv at night the reclining chair. We felt very safe at all times though in the jungle, there are homes near by and the town of Manzanillo is close for most of your fun and daily needs. We liked Maxi's restaurant-was fun and had good food, try the lemonade with good grass! Also, the 4th generation-try their guanbana drink.We do recommend having a car to get you too many beautiful beaches, but we loved. 'our beach' so close to the house.Secluded enough but close to everything.This house has plenty of parking inside the home's landscaped enclosed grounds. Ideal for us as we appreciate privacy and low density.Our property manager, recommended a list of things to see and do & we chose chef Ian, who cooked as fabulous 4 course dinner for us one night.Highly recommend. He brings all the ingredients, cooks, serves, and does all the clean up afterward. 5 ***** goes to himPluses:Excellent beds, homes layout with each bedroom have its own big bathroom plus a half bath outside by the pool, , awesome kitchen, and laundry room."
