"Booked this hotel as it was close to family we were visiting on a last minute trip. Ample parking on arrival and a very friendly helpful young gentleman at reception, he knew the answer to any questions we had and was so knowledgeable - a real credit to the hotel. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant even though we hadn’t booked and it was no problem at all, there was a small menu and only one vegetarian option but it was really lovely, one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time and...

"We had a one night stay at Craigielaw. Thouroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious well equiped and spotless. We only had one breakfast, so cant comment on the dinner service, but we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Craigielaw."

Went for breakfast and again delicious,staff always had a smile. Overall I would recommend a stay here . "only stayed/booked for 2 nights . apart from room ( 5 ) being a little dark needing lights on all the time, it was a comfortable, pleasant stay. the foodELSO i had was excellent in my opinion and very hot. if in future i need to stay in Kelso , this will be the first place I ring. "
