"I love this property - the spa, infrared sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, regular pools, taco bar, Shante at front desk, the rooms, the EV chargers, the bikes. my only complaint was that i left my credit card during my trip at the main restaurant and no one notified me - despite having my exact name on the card - which would be expected at this high end of a resort."

"What a tucked-away gem! Golden Haven was unlike any place we’ve stayed before. While the second-floor rooms were a bit underwhelming, it hardly mattered since we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible amenities. The spa experience, especially the signature mud bath, was truly unique and unforgettable. The property also offers a great pool, hot tub, fire pits, and bikes for guests to enjoy. "What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful property. Cute rooms. Bathrooms were spotless. We had a great lunch sat on the patio in the sun. Good happy hour. Great location- on the Main Street but you can also phone for a wine shuttle to take you to wineries in the outskirts of town for free. Very helpful staff. Coffee/ tea facilities (with a tasty scone in the am) available in reception. Easy parking on a quiet street outside. Great value too. "

Calistoga Motor Lodge & Spa, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel

"The Motor Lodge got taken over by Hyatt a while back and the change has been all to the good. The grounds are nicely taken care of, everything is clean, and the pools are excellent. Bonus points for pour-over coffee gear in the room. "
