"We took our oldest grandsons to Philadelphia for the Yankee game. The apartment was nicely decorated, neat, and clean. It is 2 1/2 miles from Citizens Bank Park stadium. My biggest suggestion is to find a parking place when you arrive in the area and walk or use an Uber for the rest of your time as parking is very difficult"

"The neighborhood was a bit rough to what I was expecting. It didn’t feel safe to walk around the area and not much to see or do locally. It was quiet at night and we didn’t have any break ins during our stay. Drive way is super steep. It took a few tries to not bottom out on the pavement. I drive a car so it sits decently low to ground. "

"We loved this property. It is so charming, and the location is amazing! We could walk everywhere: city hall, Rittenhouse Square, Italian market, etc.. Be prepared for lots of stairs. I would not suggest it for small children or the elderly; the stairs are treacherous and there is no bathroom on the main floor. You have to walk several blocks to find a place for your pet to do business. But if you want an authentic Philadelphia experience in a wonderful neighborhood, this is your place. Super...

"Roar retreat is very clean and very beautiful. A lot of special treats left by the host were greatly appreciated. The location is perfect for walking to see all the historical facts and all of the various landmarks. The neighborhood is beautiful and upscale and so many excellent restaurants and bars located near this home within walking distance is a plus. We loved staying here and we would definitely come back. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in Philadelphia. ...
