Safeway and many good restaurants in Alamo along with Starbucks, Peets, and a cool local coffee shop called Levers are all within easy walking distance. "Overall, I had a nice stay here for 3 nights. It had all the basic essentials that I needed, except for the clothes dryer that was listed in the amenities, which I really could've used. I found it a little uncomforting that the 2nd bedroom was locked and inaccessible, I was unaware of that before booking. Being a single woman, it just made me feel a little uneasy not knowing exactly what is behind those doors..probably is nothing but still uncomfortable. The owner was responsive and helpful when...

"The little amenities in the room were very nice. It received a lower rating for the following reasons. The shower did not work properly nor the fan in the bathroom. The fire alarm kept going off because of the steam from the bathroom. Our water was shut for three hours one day due to maintenance. This was not disclosed to us before our stay."
