"The hotel was a nice location except for the local traffic they were doing on expanding the highway. We were in town visiting friends and it was like a 5 min ride, perfect. We were able to see downtown and enjoy it. We also were in a suitable location to visit the coast of Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon, the aquarium in Pine Knolls. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool was clean and clear, however the water was a little bit to chilly for my liking would have preferred it to be warmer. "

"While the property is old and could use some refreshing, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We decided to stay an extra night. Fixtures like lamps show some rust. Otherwise ok. No funky smells. "
