"We took the shuttle from Chitose airport that left from the end outside near the police desk. Had to wait a bit after the plane landed but it was free so that was fine. There were a couple of places to walk to get dinner since which was good since we arrived after the hotel restaurant was closed. The breakfast was delicious and the onsen was nice. Rooms were small and overall a little outdated but a fine place to stay close to the airport. "

"We booked a non-smoking room, they checked us in confirming it was a non-smoking room but gave us a smoking room. When we asked for a different room they giggled and said they had no more non-smoking rooms. This was not an error and not disclosed up front. If it was disclosed up front we would not have been as disappointed and would have considered changing hotels after experiencing the room. The price and experience/comfort did not meet expectations."

"We got there after 5:30 which was a bad idea. In winter it was already pitch black and the walk from the bus stop to the hotel is uphill and very challenging with luggage. I don’t even know how we did it! Hotel itself is pretty good. Breakfast and dinner provided, bathrobes provided and you can wear to dinner, onsen open 24 hours. No view in the room but you’re close to the gorgeous lake. Small eats around town are amazing, cream puff, pork bowl 豚井, potato mochi... Be ware of the black crows;...
