"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

"A truly amazing experience. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. A ryokan experience with a modern twist. We took the complimentary shuttle bus from Sapporo Station to the hotel. Everything about the hotel is lovely. The room is just stunning, with its own onsen. The public onsen is very nice too. The meals are Japanese cuisine at its best. Breakfast and dinner. And the setting of the restaurant overlooking the Jozankei valley! Over breakfast one morning we looked at heavy snow falling....

"This a beautiful hotel which seems brand new. The staff is wonderful and the meals are great. There isn’t much to do in Jozankei and there are very limited lunch options around (the hotel serves breakfast and dinner). We had a room with a private onsen which was great. Great views of a mountain right in front of the room. If you want to chill and relax you may love it. But don’t expect lots of activities. Loved eating sushi for breakfast. Very quiet and tranquil.
