The layout is odd—the bedrooms are tiny and the beds are really crammed in there. The bathroom is huge, probably larger than the bedrooms. The "living room" is more of a foyer and definitely not set up for any more than 2 people. The furniture and decor is kind of random, like they raided someone's grandma's...

"Carmel Valley is so beautiful and this was a delightful place to stay. The garden and hot tub are a nice touch. Having a small kitchen and good sized refrigerator is another plus. I would definitely come back for another stay."

"We had the most fabulous stay in this cottage with our dog. The house was very light, cute and clean. Everything was as described. The location in PG is close to the beach, great restaurants, Carmel and wineries. This place is perfect for 1-2 people. Our dog loved the fully enclosed yard. The host was easy to communicate with. We would stay there again!"

"The Sea Otter cottage offers a peaceful, secluded spot where you are surrounded by nature. Beautiful sunsets are breathtaking and observed from the cottage, the patio or the beach. Steps away is access to costal trails yet it is conveniently located to attractions, dining and shopping. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.A wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Thank you for sharing this special historic place!"

"We enjoyed our visit to this lovely home. It was a joy to be so close to the beach and the attention to detail within the home made it feel very intentional and high quality. The only thing that I would want others to know that although this home faces the gorgeous shore it also backs up to a very busy street and there was considerable traffic noise from 7am - 7pm. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note. "
