The Carter Lodge On The River

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (181)
"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

Hickory Falls Inn

2.0 star property

"This was a clean and quaint place to stay. Dog friendly and roomy. We loved the dog run that let the pooches potty behind a fence for safety. We pray the property was not harmed by the flood as that area seems to be a target for a lot of the flooding we see on the news days after we stayed. Praying for the community and this little INN. The owners also communicated updates by text. They were great and we pray ok"

Chimney View by Carolina Properties, Walk to shops

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (48)
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Fabulous location, home is well maintained and well stocked. Thoughtful touches - for example, thick fluffy towels, plumb bed pillows. The property managers kept us well informed while we were there, best we've dealt with when renting. My only negative comment is I wish the front porch was covered; it rained while we were there and we couldn't enjoy the outdoors while it rained. Overall a great rental."
