"Was a unique experience. No reception. No bar. No Dining Room. No on site parking. Communication was excellent with door code and security keys and mobile number in case of emergencies. The house was very welcoming with a Christmas tree and carols being played and as the house has a "no shoes" policy it would have been more convenient to have a dedicated area for changing footwear rather than the very tiny lobby area. "Hotel was fine; bed was clean. Only bad points; some noise from outside but nothing too bad. Room a bit tatty. At the price it’s what you would expect. No cold water in the bathroom; only hot. Beware that after booking online via an agent, it is advisable to call them to confirm; there seemed to be some confusion with the receptionist as a result of this. There was only 1 large plate and 1 small side plate, no wiping up cloth and only 1 tea bag, however B&M is literally directly opposite and is open till 8pm there’s also a large Asda 10mins walk to your left as you exit the place.
