After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . Again we asked on 9/22, the day before our checkin, that you use our new email provided. Absolutely no response to our request, no one responded to our request or answer the "emergency" no. We received the passcode by text, and a response TO that text went unanswered as well. Extremely disappointed. Will not use Vrbo again."

Excellent selection of books, videos, cds and jigsaws. 7 miles from nearest supermarket. Beautiful country views. If you are an animal lover this is for you - chickens, goats, horses, and a loch with plenty of waterfowl."

"This is a superb cottage, finished to an excellent standard and very well equipped. There is no phone signal or WiFi which some people may not like but for us that just added to the feel of having a proper getaway in The Borders countryside. You can’t walk on the immediate estate but that really doesn’t matter as there are plenty of walks in the area. "Cottage was excellent - very well equipped - with lots of personal touches provided by the hosts - including a lovely welcome pack of milk, bread, homegrown vegetables and fresh eggs. Location was delightfully secluded, away from any roads, with a large garden, so that our grandchildren and our dogs could be allowed to be outside most of the time."

"Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. "
