"Great place to stay and the food was very good"

"Overall a pleasant stay. Room (suite with tub) was spacious and comfortable, and had most utilities you need for a short stay. Could’ve used blinds behind the curtains, as room was facing a road/parking lot (we had our curtains closed all the time, which made the room very dark). Food from the restaurant/roomservice was pretty overpriced. But would overall recommend."

"Ideal for an overnight stay in Chesterfield. Located close to the railway station, and within walking distance of the town, the hotel was clean, tidy and warm. The price was affordable and represented good value. I would definitely consider staying there again in future. Do be careful, though, when crossing the road at the nearby roundabout. It's very busy."

"Stayed here after visiting Chatsworth House, the staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room had been upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. We ate in the bar, as we weren’t particularly hungry, again good, attentive service, and the bar snacks ordered were very enjoyable. We would return and also recommend Peak Edge Hotel to others. "

"My recent visit to Chesterfield and other places in England took months of planning. Upon arrival I was told that there was no heating or hot water due to a boiler malfunction all guests had to be re-located. First I was sent to the Ibis down the street. Then the staff there told me there were no rooms so I had to stay at the Ibis in Bolsover. Trouble is, I did not have a car (travelling by train) so I had to pay a taxi to get there. Furthermore, I'd planned to stay in the heart of Chesterfield,...
