It is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds and super quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. "I can't fault it. Spotlessly clean and for an economy single room, it had everything you need. En suite, nice little touches having hand soap and shower gel. Spotless white towel, bath mat and bedding. The bed was comfortable. Check in was very friendly and I was given full instructions on how to use the self locking main entrance door. Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "
