"The room was excellent. Comfortable, well equipped and modern. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The only downside was the quality of the food. It arrived barely warm and both the steak and the chicken dishes were very tough. "

"A comfortable hotel / pub and restaurant that is conveniently close to Watford and London. Room quality was very good and spacious. Both dinner and breakfast were great. The local area is very pleasent and quiet. Ample parking is available."

"We booked an executive twin room for the 3 of us for my mums birthday. Check in took a little while but there was a gentleman handing out water to people waiting which was a nice touch. The room was lovely and spacious, even with the double sofa bed out. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Free drinks in the mini bar and plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room to keep us going. Access to the executive lounge was a bonus where we grabbed some snacks and drinks after a long day shopping. Lots of choice at breakfast, staff couldn't be more accomodating and wondeful. The only downside I could say is that the lifts did take a while. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely be back! "
