"Wonderful service at the front desk! The location is good... except it's on a BUSY / LOUD street next to a very loud tunnel. Beware if your room faces the street... bring a sound machine. Also... not a plush or comfortable mattress. Finally... as expected for Europe... my room was extremely small and tight... though the shower was decent sized. Overall... good location, GREAT service... but beware of the "noise"!"

"Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."

"I had a great time at the Dom Henrique. I got an upgrade upon checking in, which was nice, and I was also pleasantly surprised to be tended to by a lady at the front desk who spoke perfect French. The hotel is conveniently located, a short walk to a central metro station and to old town (and about 20 minutes to the river). Unlike the rest of the neighborhood, the hotel is a tower that has 17 stories and a rooftop with a great view but obviously, not everyone will like its "brutalist" style. The...
