The hotel itself is amazing. The location is also fantastic. The bed in the room is absolutely ATROCIOUS! The worst night sleep ever. For a hotel that looks as beautiful as that to have such a horrible bed with the springs digging in your back is unacceptable! Its the equivalent to how homeless people sleep in the street. PLEASE GET BETTER BEDS AND BEDDING!!

This is unique old structure that is charming, despite the construction. Good breakfast, excellent bellhop service and on a pedestrian only street with occasional taxi pick up. Has a true old euro feel, a healthy walk to river area.

The hotel is not reachable by Uber/Bolt and only by taxi. It was a surprise 100 meter uphill walk with luggage when arrive.

Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing and being in the middle of the commercial district of Porto. We got the family double room which is 2 floors but the bathroom was downstairs separate from the bedroom and the layout was a bit inconvenient. Housekeeping also did not clean thoroughly after our first night, they didn’t even replace our towels or changed bedding, so not sure why they even bothered entering the room. Overall, beautiful historical building and great breakfast buffet but our suite itself had an inconvenient layout without any amenities like toiletries or even a box of tissues.

What a beautiful hotel! Felt like going back in time to an era of grandness. From the beautiful entrance to the dark wood and stunning staircase, the hotel was gorgeous. And a surprise rooftop terrace overlooking Porto. We loved our stay there and thank the staff for making it so memorable.
