"It was only a short overnight stay, but a great choice of hotel. Admittedly a little pricey for around 17 hours, and the only time in the hotel was for sleep. However, it can't be denied that this is a top class hotel, not a budget one. It should be noted that there's currently work going on around the hotel - I think it's to do with a metro extension, BUT it wasn't noticeable from inside. There are 2 metro stations very close by. The hotel is beautiful inside, and the staff were very helpful....

"We had one of the modern rooms so didn’t feel the “castle” feeling in our room. The grounds and breakfast room were very beautiful though. "We had a great time at the Wood Loft. We started off our vacation with cellphone issues and had no access to wifi. Through WhatsApp we were able to contact Luis who was a lifesaver. The accommodation was better than we expected; immaculately clean, great location, balcony. We had a car and were able to park in garage across the street. We would rent through Luis again."

"The apartment is fantastic and in a great neighborhood, very secure buildingl Most importantly however, was the unbelievable service from Jose. We had driven our rental car into the heart of Porto (not recommended!), and because of the subway construction, many roads are blocked and we couldn't find the best way to apartment.
