"The house is very nice, old and stylish and so is the garden with plants and trees that are characteristic of the Kenya coast. I know that the owner wants to build a pool this spring, which would make the house perfect during the hot and humid days of the hotter season. More electric fans in the house would help to sleep when there is a little breeze in that area. However, Thoya, the house boy is a very kind and helpful man, and he can be an excellent cook on request. Sincerely, Aleksandra"

"Awesome stay.the house was well-equipped . Has air conditioned bedrooms with full mosquito nets around the beds, on demand heated showers etc. Hotel-like amenities but a Home-like environment. Clean well kept pool. The highlight of our stay was the food. You can get 3 meals/day cooked per your liking for a fee which is a big steal compared to eating out. My family enjoyed all the meals Martha made. The mahamri with ukwaju sauce, pilau, fish, viazi karai etc. I would go back just for the food....
