"When we first walked in a huge rat ran across the kitchen cabinets. The WiFi barely worked and we were constantly kicked off of it. Bugs were all over the house and we were constantly bitten at night. The hot water did not work in the extra bathroom. The property manager did respond promptly and put a rat trap out and tried to assist with the wifi and hot water. Overall there should be more attention to the property and amenities for guests. "

"We arrived Wed. evening before Christmas. At 6pm the power went out. The lights worked but the A/C & frig did not. The staff was unconcerned & left for the night. It was very uncomfortable overnight at 80 degrees F & 90% humidity without A/C. The next morning the manager called an electrician. He was there several hours but couldn't fix the power, another night without A/C. The upstairs bathroom had no running water. The staff left buckets of water to flush the toilet. "Every bedroom, gathering space, and lounging area throughout the house (inside and out) is comfortably appointed and thoughtfully designed. The staff of the house are warm, inviting, and exceptionally professional. We loved the location along the water - close access for beach walks and shopping, yet plenty of quiet and privacy while still steps away from activity. Forodhani House is a very special place and our group was honored by our experience!"

"I cannot state enough how happy we were in the villa. Everything was like advertised and more. From the moment we booked Sylvia was reaponsive and quite helpful. When we arrived James was waiting and helped with our luggage and showed us around. Edith ensured the place was meticulously clean and Mwamba tge guard ensured our safety and easy access back when we went put. The e ntire team made sure our stay amd family reunion was A1. I highly recommend tge villa."
