"It is a nice hotel. The decor is aggressively 20’s styling, kind of garishly fun. Had issues checking in, which was Expedia’s fault no theirs but they sorted it out and were good at customer service. Enjoyed it. Nice breakfast. "

"My first night stay the suite wasn't as to my expectations. My second nights stay was very much better for having the handicap room. There was way more room in the bathroom and the shower looked inviting. I can wait till it can get back up for my next stay. Thank uou."

"Very open, clean and inviting...even a welcome bar in the lobby. Rooms beds & bedding were great-tho bigger pillows would have been appreciated. Breakfast was very good. Prices were good. A tiny bit difficult to find but worth the effort."

"Stay was great! We always choose the Wildwood when we come to Des Moines. The breakfast is top notch and the people are so friendly. Only issue: there was a light out in the shower and we found one hair in the shower. Nothing too big, we still enjoyed our stay and it didn’t hinder us from wanting to stay again. Overall will be back! "
