"Breakfast was not as good as what we get in other hotels. The hockey puck eggs were not good and we saw something that might have been sausage, but didn’t try it. Could have just been a bad day for someone. The elevator didn’t work (and had a sign), but it would travel to the floor, preventing the working elevator from coming up. That was frustrating. The place wasn’t full, but they put us next to an occupied room. So instead of a really quiet night, we got to enjoy someone else coming...

They found my rings, and immediately called me to tell me so. We weren't even out of the Ames area yet so it was easy to head back to get them.
