"This was the perfect setting to spend a couple of days with our own kids prior to hosting 21 for Thanksgiving on Friday. Our hostess, Mollie, was fantastic. She helped provide extra tables and chairs, and she brought a few extra things over to the kitchen in an effort to make sure we had as much as we needed to prepare our big Thanksgiving feast. "A group of four of us stayed there over the Labor Day weekend. The house was great, very clean and large enough for the group. The kitchen had all the utensils and gear that we needed to cook for ourselves. The location is great, close to the lake, Pella, and the Bos Landen golf course. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and were easy to work with. We would be happy to stay there again next year."

"This home is perfect for a traveling family. My family of 4 had more than enough room to spread out. One of the basement rooms has 2 queen-sized beds that was perfect for my 2 kids. "The farmhouse was cozy and relaxing to stay at. I can’t think of one thing that the host did not have covered. You can tell this property was important to them and they have done an excellent job with upkeep. The only thing I did bump down was the location because unfortunately it is located on a gravel road. And with the lack of rainfall, it was extremely dusty- too dusty to enjoy the front porch. Otherwise we enjoyed our time together at the Farmhouse very much! Thanks!"

The house is large and very private, and we wish that it had been cooler weather so that we could have enjoyed a fire in the inside fireplace.
