"This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow was updated/remodeled and quite comfortable. Great coffee maker! Mattresses seemed relatively new (always a bonus!) Our stay turned out to be during an unusual heat wave, so we wished there had been AC, but perhaps this is usually not a problem in that area. The only not so ideal things were that the exterior patio was quite dirty, the trash barrels were fully covered in cobwebs, wasp nests and spiders. And the welcome notebook wasn't all that "welcoming". We...

"Our three-household family gathers every August for several days in a nice vacation spot. In the past, we reserved a large cabin at Lake Tahoe. This year, we decided to spend a week near beaches in Santa Cruz. The house on W. Cliff Drive was perfect for us. We'll have to do it again someday. "

"Mar Luna is a rare gem with easy access to the Pacific Grove/Monterey beaches - beach trail access is excellent plus easy biking on 17 Mile road. Photos cannot capture the breathtaking views from the ocean facing side of the house. This established home has been well taken care of and provides for all the needs for a family or group of friends. No matter how long your stay, you will have a difficult time saying goodbye. We will definitely return! "

"Very clean and well maintained property, even while occupying the location. A strong wind occurred overnight and we left the spa cover off. The next morning we discovered a lot of debris fell into it and was not in any condition to be used. However, we left to grab lunch, and when we checked the spa again, it was all clear and cleaned up! Was very happy to once again use the spa. A++"

"Perfect location with a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was clean and well stocked for our short stay. We really enjoyed the outside space both front and backyards. The beds were comfortable and we even enjoyed the pillows, which is always a tough thing to find. Over all I’d give this a 5/5 stars and highly recommend!"

"It was amazing. The place was perfect for us.The lay out was wonderful. We had adult children and a new baby. We could walk to the beach. It was dog friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough room and space for us. The backyard was a plus. We were lucky the weather was perfect. Definitely will be back. :)"
