"Kona Palace was the biggest treat of our trip to Big Island. The home is gorgeous- very clean and filled with art, antiques and beautiful stained glass. The view of Kaalakakua Bay is unsurpassed—with homemade hot breakfast served and cooked by the host. They also have worked hard to cultivate gorgeous landscaping- flowering bushes and palms. We were warmly welcomed and will return. "

"I love everything about this property. It is so close to grocery store, beach, and what the property has to offer. I can't believe how close we are to the manta ray activities. we were also able to see the whale from our patio. It is nice and clean and spacious. "

"Great place for a family. Property was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals or go to the beach. Although the place may be a little dated/needs upgrading, it was very clean. I wouldn’t say it’s walking distance to shops/restaurants for people with young children. It was about a half hour walk and hot) We made it work. The workers at the resort were really nice and accommodating. They even had little activities at the resort that were either complimentary or very cheap. Would stay here again "
