"This historic hotel has been renovated, keeping the original floor tiles in the restaurant, mezzanine, and entry lobby. The guest bedrooms and bathrooms are large, making the lodging very comfortable. The staff is cheerful, helpful and efficient. Rooms are vacuumed, linens changed, and bathroom floors mopped—every day of your stay. Exceptionally clean. The food is excellent, particularly the dinner menus, highlighting fish, shellfish from Atlantic, pacific and gulf, as well as regional specialties. If you are visiting for business-the key banks and government agencies are in this area. If you are a tourist interested in the museums, theaters and churches, this is an excellent location to lodge."
