There are multiple check points to pass through and security guards patrolling the area at night. You will need transportation to get to the nearest town to do some exploring, restaurants and excursions but that was ok with me. I did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Sosua or Cabarete. "This is a beautiful property. Away from the noise of the city. We felt secure with the gates and the gate keeper.Cristian was the perfect host. I asked her to show me how to cook a Dominican authentic meal. She cooked the meal and was very patient with us. I arrived at the airport in the middle of the night around 1:30am and try to call to get information on how to get to the property with no answer. The GPS took me to an abandoned property with a closed gate and no signs. I ended up renting a hotel. No one answer me and they did not refund my money. "

"The bed was like sleeping on cardboard. Other than that, it was a basic hotel style setup with them being very strict with tourists to make sure they can charge you for anything. The map shows another side of the hotel with an oceanfront pool that looks to be part of the same hotel but they said we couldn’t go there. They do allow you to stay on property til 2pm after checkout of your room, however, which was nice to relax in cabanas and not be rushed. "

"This is a great place to stay in Cabarete! Nice & clean, nice neighbors and very secure building. There are many things that are walkable from here; shopping, restaurants, bars, the beach, even groceries! The only drawback is no direct access to the beach, but a quick walk gets you there in no time."

"I stay here frequently when I come to Dominican to see my other half. I normally ask ahead of time for things like extra pillows or a wine opener, etc., and they always accommodate me, which is lovely. Great communication. The staff are very nice. Air conditioners in the bedrooms as well as fans on the ceiling to help. Keep it cool. The pool downstairs is small, but definitely there to cool you off my only suggestion would be some umbrellas, cause it gets pretty scorching hot back there"
