"I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books."

The door got stuck a couple of times. Kitchen and washing machine a nice touch. Some water damage from the room above resulting in flakes of paint all over the ensuite sink. "Very small room, no lampshade no tiolet roll. Doors banging very loudly with no regard for other people. Smoking in the house which was unpleasant. Nithing good to say really. 40quid a night is ridiculous for that room."
