The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...

The only down side was someone was hammering on the front door for half an hour at 4.30am which woke us up but will definitely stay here again. "Brilliant hotel, always try to stay here if in Chester. Car park for about 20 cars, but Watergate St is a 3 min walk and about £12 for 24 hours. Stayed in the Ascot suite, great size, spotless, all the facilities in good working order. Free WiFi. Lots of space, ealk in shower (very powerful). Best bit, the L-shaped balcony with a superb view of the entire racecourse and beyond. All staff / reception brilliant and friendly."
