Commanding wonderful sea views, tucked away on the edge of the village you will find the tranquility of Peacehaven. The well equipped and comfortable two bedroom bungalow set in mature well maintained gardens enveloped by magnificent views sweeping across the valley, capturing the Avon Estuary, Bantham Beach, Burgh Island and out to sea. An ideal retreat to explore the finest beaches and coastal footpaths of the South Hams, many within walking distance. The nearby picturesque towns of Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth offer an array of shops and low key attractions. Thurlestone is a popular village with pretty thatched cottages, an old church and post office. The Village Inn partially constructed from a stricken armada vessel draws an eclectic mix of local characters and visitors eager to sample the local ales. The village boasts one of the best hotels in Devon offering a restaurant, health spa and a 9 hole golf course open to non residents and a superb 18 hole links course.
The property is accessed from the private car-park via a short path. Entry may be made from both aspects.

What a gem!
Such a beautiful place and the bungalow is very clean and thoughtfully kitted out. So many beautiful coves to explore, even with the narrow lanes that take you too them!

This was a lovely place to stay! Very clean, well organised and comfortable. Great location with walks and beaches & brilliant views to enjoy from the bungalow. Judy was very helpful and welcoming and always prompt to reply. We would come again!

The name of the property is called Peacehaven & that just sums our trip up in one word. Just perfect
Judy’s property is the perfect place to have a relaxing & enjoyable holiday. It is well equipped, spacious, beautifully appointed & it has a commanding view over the bay & out to sea. It is just breathtaking. The neighbours are very friendly & respectful & the village itself is charming & an idyllic example of a lovely Devon setting. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back.

Very comfortable bungalow with an amazing view.
We had a really comfortable stay here. The bungalow was very well equipped. The view is even better than it looks in the pictures. The village is beautiful, the local pub just a short stroll away and serves fantastic food or The Sloop Inn is about a 20 minute walk across the fields though it's steep on the way back. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Fabulous location. We walked to 3 different beaches, 2 different pubs and lovely coastal walks directly from the property. The house is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything we could have wanted and more. Communication from the owner was brilliant too. We will definitely be back!

On arrival the cottage was spotless and easy to find following Judith's instructions .Neighvours were friendly and good for local advice . The cottage has everything you want and stunning views across Bantham and Burgh Island . Would recommend the sloop in for a meal out . All and all we had a great week with superb weather as a bonus.

Lovely property in a great area
We really enjoyed our stay here - the property had everything we needed and was in a lovely location. Judith was very helpful and responsive. The only minor issue we had was a neighbour's truck and trailer that was parked against the wall opposite the garages all week which made manouevring the car into the parking space a bit tight.
