The beach is an ideal spot from which you can set off on your paddleboard and explore Bantham and beyond or start your day with a refreshing sea swim.

Walk across the beach or down the hill onto the main beach, and across to the famous Burgh Island. The island is home to Burgh Island Hotel and The Pilchard Inn. Whilst on the island, why not hike to the top and take in those breathtaking 360-degree views out to Bantham and across to Hope Cove. Set above the beach is a wonderful beach shop, Venus Takeaway where you can buy pasties and ice-creams and during the summer months you’ll find Beach Barista parked up on the beach serving great coffee.
