"The property manager was horrible, she was very aggressive when communicating. She tried to take my deposit for a broken lock that I have never touched. Very poor communication, I felt like I was in prison, because I wasn’t allowed to take visitors on her property. The housekeepers were more friendly and nice. "Best vacation/anniversary trip we have ever had in 24 years. The villa was absolutely stunning. The pictures are beautiful, but don’t do the place justice. The staff was kind, courteous, fun, attentive, and great at their jobs. The food was top notch both in quality and presentation. "Excellent location to relax! We spent our days reading our books and lounging at the villa or at the beach. Villa was clean, well kept, and very charming. Miss Cassie is an amazing cook and has a beautiful personality. The whole family loved all her meals which were excellent and first class and we also enjoyed our grocery shopping trip! :) Host communications were great with no issues whatsoever. Would return in a heartbeat. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We woke up every morning to parrots in the tree. It is close to a ton of fun activities. We loved the beach club and they treated me like a queen for my birthday. The property is very clean and the grounds are beautiful."

"We were a party of 10 including kids. We were taken care of so well. We all enjoyed the hospitality! Everyone looked after us well!The only thing that we would have liked differently is cleanliness of the kitchen, the pots and pans etc. not used to seeing the old worn out utensils being used to cook so found that a bit put off. "If you love a laid back experience with a beautiful beach with no one bothering you, nor crowds, then this is an amazing option. While the weather was not cooperating, the house and its location was still amazing. The staff was kind and very accommodating. The only caveat to anyone looking to stay here.. you should know you will likely eat home most nights. Ocho is a 45-1 hour drive (given traffic) and driving at night is not fun. There are not too many restaurant options around. Maybe 2-3....

"We stayed in a stunning home in the chukka cove community. The water was crystal clear with coral and fish right in our cove. We stayed in March and there were no bugs in the villa. It was perfect for my family including my 14 year old son and his grandparents. Having the pool as an option was wonderful for windy days. The food was wonderful in the villa. When I landed in Jamaica, I reached out to management to enquire about possibly extending my stay when I was told that they did not have my reservation. "It was clean and spacious. Hosts gave great recommendations on where to go. Notoya and family made us breakfast every morning and it was delicious and convenient. The gated community was safe and quiet. The pool facilities were clean. Overall, would recommend and stay here again."

"This property is beautiful and very relaxing it also has an amazing beach. I would not recommend the rooms with a private pool as they are shaded in the morning and evening, we never used our pool due to no sun. I would recommend staying in the beach houses they are directly on the beach with beautiful views. We went to the beach everyday, was able to get Bali beds and chaises with no problem with no extra cost. Beautiful resort I would definitely recommend, we have stayed at most Excellence resorts, this one is definitely the nicest."

"Very nice resort clean Large food options and entertainment Just the activities we went to ( Dunn river), the pictures are a scam 40 dollars for 5 picture when he was taking lots of them.. and poorly taking very bad quality I put it under this review because I booked the activity with the hotel when we arrived "
