"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was. "Extremely handy base for walking in this area and easy access to all the village facilities. One thing I hadn’t thought of was the challenge of a dirty dog and only having a small shower cubicle so one to consider if booking! (We made it work somehow). Only slight down side to the property was the sofa isn’t the comfiest place to sit of an evening, but we fixed that by visiting the pub instead. Overall very good for our needs and an easy experience."
