"The room was exceptionally clean, every you could possible need was thought of,, However the food wasn’t quite so good,, the first night my fish was excellent, but my chips uncooked and peas hard,, the cheesecake was very heavy and tasteless,,, Breakfast the next morning was mostly cold,, cold beans, cold mushroom and hardly cooked tomato,,the bacon had futty undercooked rind,,, but the service was second to none by the waiting staff "

"Felt like we were staying in a family home despite the size of the place. Staff were very welcoming with brilliant service at breakfast. Parking can be tight if you’re in a large car but not a problem for us. The room we had was excellent. A corner room with double aspect and fantastic views over looking the countryside."

"This is a historic hotel with history back to the 11th century right next to the cathedral in the centre of Hereford. Great atmosphere. "

"There was a warm and efficient welcome on arrival. This is a hotel adjacent to motorway services so food etc is available in the service area. It was rather dated but very clean. A lot of the road noise is screened out by the trees so it was much quieter than I expected. Very convenient location. "

"Frim the moment we arrived this hotel did not disappointed our expectations. The staff were professional, welcoming and extremely helpful - they could not do enough for us to help ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We were a large family group, 3 rooms, travelling with a baby as well as an older grandparent. Staff went out of their way to help us even washing the babies clothes when she had been sick! They made us feel at home and very welcome which made us very relaxed throughout our stay. The hotel itself is freshly decorated, spotlessly clean and has many social areas around the bar area that we could sit and enjoy our time together. Bar staff were friendly and offered a good selection of drinks for the grown ups. Kids menu offers good value to feed lots of children! The pool was fab fluffy white towels provided and a hot jacuzzi and sauna to top it off. We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast with a wide choice and selection of hot/cold tasty food. The chef even came out and offered our little dog a treat for his breakfast (so kind and thoughtful.) I genuinely can not find any area for improvement for the hotel or that could have bern better with our stay. We will be using this hotel every year for our family catch up. Thank you for everything you did to help us....we had a fab stay ❤️ "

"The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay. Thank you to all the team"
