"Had an excellent 2 night break. No delays or issues checking in, friendly greeting, everything was explained. Room was clean, tidy and bigger than expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - food was delicious, great service made it a lovely relaxing experience. Breakfast the next day was good, no shortage of choice and freshly cooked buffet and continental food. One issue - one of 2 coffee machines was broken (these things happen), the other on a go slow, so there were queues which could have been better managed, worked around"

The only criticism was that the mattress was a tad too hard for our liking but that's a personal taste. Apart from that, everything was excellent including the breakfast. Hotel is starting to date in parts and could potentially have a freshen up. Corridors were chilly and frayed stair carpets. Overall a great stay and would recommend it. "
