"Our stay at Xandari Resort was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We missed our flight and arrived a day late, but they were extremely accommodating and helped us reschedule without any hassle — a huge relief after a stressful travel day. The food at the resort was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the standout experiences was discovering that they brew their own IPA, which was such a unique and memorable touch. The views from both our room and the dining area were breathtaking — lush greenery and sweeping landscapes that made every moment feel serene and special. Honestly, the pictures on Expedia don’t do it justice. The real experience far exceeds what you see online. They should definitely update them! Highly recommend Xandari to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional service, food, and scenery."

"This was my wife and I second trip to the La Fortuna area. Chachagua is a quaint town a little south and the resort was way off the beaten path in the middle of the rainforest. This was the first time for my mom and her best friend. Just off foot surgery and still a little sore/ swollen. The resort staff went overboard to accommodate her with a shower seat. Use of their wheelchair so she could get around when tired and just amazing every day. The food was top notch, free breakfast was awesome. My family would highly recommended a visit. If you have a chance to visit say hi to Anthony, Patricia, Gettchen with two t’s, Sofia, Lorenzo, Kevin, Pamela, Karen, Jonathan, Kristal, Maicol ( hope you catch some big fish) and Dennis. The ownership should be proud of every one of you. Thank you The Lyle family"

"We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife sanctuary - Guide MICHAEL WAS AWESOME. We also participated in the butterfly release, which we will remember forever! The downside was the dinner restaurant (only one). The menu was super Americanized, and they were out of the one local fish! The first night took forever to get served, and they brought our appetizer, salad, and main dish all at once. The second night was my birthday, and although the server offered me a free dessert for my birthday, when they brought it, there was no candle, no offer to sing, no extra decoration on the plate, and no wishing me a happy birthday. I'm a little surprised by this as it was contrary to the front desk staff. Hey, Lee Banks, please train your restaurant staff to make a bigger deal of of birthdays. Also, put some more Costa Rican items on the menu! The food was VERY good for both breakfast (not included) and dinner, and beautifully plated. If you don't mind the price, don't miss this beautiful property, and ask for Michael as your guide! "

"The property was beautiful! So quiet during our stay. Was able to hear some noise from other people staying in the room next to us but not horrible at all! Paola was so pleasant and sweet! Javier was Also top notch as well! We enjoyed our stay so much! Breath taking views! Homemade breakfast and dinner! Not much for children to do around the property. Would say it's mostly for an adult peaceful stay! 10/10."
