"This property is amazing because the rooms back up to Arenal volcano. In the morning, we had incredible birdwatching and were able to even see toucans. It’s walkable into town, approximately 2 km. But there are many dining options along the way. My husband and I are vegan and were very happy with our choices. The restaurant in hotel Magic Mountain offered a few vegan options as well. The staff were very helpful and Carlos, at the front desk, arranged tours for us. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a combination of remote feel and walking distance to dining and shopping."

Our room with a King size bed and side bed (for a child or teen, who was not with us), was the largest room we have stayed in - at this price range. The hotel uses the efficiencies of the new digital age, ranging from communicating through What's App with the front desk to inserting the room card key to activate the electricity in the room. "
