"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There...

"We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many vacation homes. This one was, hands-down our favorite. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need. The view is stunning. The owner/host was so kind and made our stay even more memorable. Even our two teenage boys loved the house and didn’t want to leave!
