"Good base for getting to all the shops and sites in Brighton. A bit small and cosy but was fine for 5 people. Not enough seating areas for more. Need to be aware you are next to a very busy road so will hear lots of people walking past and traffic noise but fine for a short break."

"The property really couldn’t have been any better for our weekend celebrating my sister’s hen party. The location was perfect - central, seconds from the sea and near to all of our planned activities. The communal areas were fantastic, especially the large dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Excellent communication with the host too, thank you!"

"Fantastic location…a stone’s throw from pier as well as Laine’s shopping. Great to have the parking for two cars too. We would definitely return. "

"Nice, comfortable property . Car parking was very useful. The weather was atrocious so we were grateful of the living and kitchen areas. Some of the curtains, curtain rails, windows latches a little tired. but overall clean. We had to buy wine glasses which we left at the property. There was glasses just not 4 the same. "This is a sparkling, clean and very comfortable property superbly located next to the Lanes in Brighton centre. The VRBO description of the property is spot on. The only negative comments I will make is that there are signs throughout the property to remind guests not to do this or that, and also that the backyard cannot be access before 7am or after 9pm."

"Good weekend had by all"

"The house is well sized and spacious with a lovely terrace. It's one of the best kitted out kitchens I've stayed at, we could comfortably cook for 8 of us both nights and it's well placed with buses and a walk into the city centre for exploring. I highly recommend the house."

"We stayed in Brighton for about 9 days. The house was very comfortable and a one minute walk to the beach. Lots for the kids to do. I suggest waling into Hove for a great selection of restaurants, etc. In Brighton itself, The Walrus Pub is reputed to have the best Sunday roast. Overall the VRBO was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking appliance and utensils making eating in ever for a large group very easy. I highly recommend this VRBO."

"Was a lovely stay, great set up and location, perfect for lots of shopping and good food, the only downside was that the shower was not very hot at all, after a long day in the cold a hot shower was something we really needed, so we did spend most of our stay freezing unfortunately, bed was very comfy and was fabulous that you could connect your own Netflix to the TV, thank you for a nice weekend away :)"

Outstanding seaside grand hotel

"Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in England! Check in fab, hotels.com gave us a b upgrade to a sea view which was amazing because it was my husbands 50th then the hotel gave us a drink at the bar on them for is birthday, the breakfast outstanding! Show cooking omelettes fresh salmon smoothies etc amazing, staff lovely place so clean and decor beautiful we loved every minute it just went too fast everyone described it as a smaller version of the ritz "

The Charm Brighton Boutique Hotel and Spa

"Charm by name and charming by nature! Set in a quiet street with facing gardens, about 5 minutes walk from the pier and Old Steine. Plenty of buses nearby. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staf very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. We were here overnight and would be happy to stay here again. "

Good but needs more focus on the details

"Hotel is clean and very well located for the station. Rooms are a good size. Pricing was competitive. But for 4 star status I'd expect more attention to detail. There should be bottled water in the rooms (this can be done sustainably), quality toiletries including body lotion (not from dispensers that barely work), better quality fresh ingredients at breakfast, some element of table service, key cards that worked on the lifts... added to which the extractor fan was constantly on and the bedroom phone didn't work. In summary, on this experience it was Premier Inn standard. And I think Premier Inn is ok! But it should be aiming a bit higher."
