"An excellent property in all aspects, made even better by its convenient location. Guests can stroll down a private lawn to access starting points for bus and boat travel around Lake Windermere. It's not the most luxurious place I've stayed in the Lakes, but the location more than compensates. Highly recommended. I would happily stay here again."

"Have stayed here many times and never fails to impress. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing with a first class dinner menu with plenty of choice. The lounge bar was comfortable and well appointed. We had lunch and drinks in the beautiful gardens as the weather was exceptional. All members of staff are friendly and helpful a welcome change to the surly staff you get at most places these days. We will return again and again. For me personally as I have a dog phobia I like the fact that dogs are not allowed in the main building or in the bar. Highly recommended."

"The property is located in a quiet peaceful area of bowness but within easy reach of all the bars ,shops and restaurants. The guest house features modern decorative rooms and safe parking. Hosts are welcoming and always available if needed. Returned to this property many times."
